The Azerbaijan National Conservatory has hosted concert of Student Chorus. Notably, the concert was dedicated to May 28 Republic Day. Interesting music samples were sounded in the concert, led by choirmaster Tarana Yusifova. Solmaz Hayatova acted as a concertmaster. Both folk music samples and works of Azerbaijani and European composers have been included in the program. Thus, folk songs “Süsən sünbül”, “Gözəlim sənsən”, also, “Ey vətən” by Uzeyir Hajibeyli, “Zərif gülüşlüm” by Jahangir Jahangirov, “Salamat qal, ana” by Ogtay Kazimi, “Gülüm yoxdur” by Ramiz Mustafayev, as well as girls chorus of Prince Igor opera by A.Boradin and other works of art were performed. Orkhan Huseynli, Zeynab Najafova, Eljan Hasanov, Emin Zeynalli, Nigar Jalilova acted as soloists. Following the concert of the chorus, the conservatory’s student Rustam Allazov singed When I was your man (Bruno Mars) accompanied by Hajar Mammadli. At the end, ANC rector, People’s Artist, professor Siyavush Karimi made a speech and congratulated the participants.
