The Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society has hosted an event “Muğamat var olan yerdə” (Where Mughamat exists). Young mugham singers gathered in the event, which was a joint project of the Azərbaycan (Azerbaijan) Television, Mədəniyyət (Culture) Channel and Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society. Firstly, various men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, reflecting our national values as well as musical instruments were presented at the lobby of the Philharmonic Society, which improved and newly developed by Mammadali Mammadov, Head of the “Improvement of national musical instruments” scientific-research laboratory of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. Artistic part of the concert was opened by Secretary of the Azerbaijani Union of Writers Ilgar Fahmi. Then, laureates of the Mugham TV Contest, lecturers and students of the conservatory made speeches. Tayyar Bayramov, Ehtiram Huseynov, Sabina Arabli, Kamila Nabiyeva, Bayimkhanim Valiyeva, Miralam Miralamov, Elnur Zeynalov, Ayshan Mehdiyev, Azad Shukurov, Nisbat Sardayeva, Husniyya Murvatova sang mughams, tasnifs and folk songs. The soloists were accompanied by “Mugham instrumental ensemble”, consisting of Sahib Pashazade (tar), Toghrul Asadullayev (kamancha), Chinara Heydarova (qanun), Shafa Karimov (lute), Azad Alimammadov (balaban) and Emin Jabrayilov (drum).
